BLINDSIDE Cancel European Tour

Sweden's BLINDSIDE have cancelled their European tour under orders of their label Elektra because of the current war on Iraq. The company issued a statement Wednesday canceling "all international touring plans". The group, who were to start a European tour next week, are the only act affected so far. "In the current climate the safety of the band and crew is the first priority for the label," the statement said.

As a result, BLINDSIDE have postponed the release of their debut U.K. single, "Pitiful", until further notice.
